Malecela kumrudisha Sitta kwenye uspika

Bunge la Tanzania likiendelea na mikutano yakeKizito Noya, Dodoma na Boniface Meena Dar
WAZIRI Mkuu mstaafu, John Malecela amesema atafanya kila linalowezekana kuhakikisha kuwa Spika wa Bunge, Samuel Sitta anarudi katika uspika baada ya uchaguzi mkuu.Malecela alifanya kampeni hizo alipokuwa akichangia hotuba ya makadirio ya Wizara ya Afya na Ustawi wa Jamii iliyowasilishwa bungeni jana na Waziri Profesa David Mwakyusa ambayo imetengewa Sh678,421,483,000.
Malecela alisema atahakikisha Sitta anarudi kwenye uspika kutokana na utendaji mzuri wa kazi katika kuliongoza bunge tangu alipochaguliwa kushika nafasi hiyo.
“Mimi binafsi naomba dua ili urudi bungeni na ukifanikiwa, nitafanya kila ninaloweza kuhakikisha unakuwa spika tena ili tuendelea kupata utendaji wako uliotukuka,” alisema Malecela.
Mbali na kumwombea Spika Sitta arudi Bungeni, Malecela alijipigia kampeni mwenyewe kwa kuwataka wapigakura wake wa jimbo la Mtera, wamchague tena ili aendeleze mema aliyoyaanza.
Malecela aliwataka wapigakura hao kuwapuuza watu aliosema wanafika jimboni kwake na maneno yasiyo na maana yenye lengo la kutaka kumng’oa katika nafasi ya ubunge.
“Jimboni kwangu Mtera, ninawaomba na kuwasihi wananchi wawapuuze hao wanaokuja na maneno ya hovyo hovyo. Msisikie maneno yao bali tuendelee kuwa pamoja ili tukamilishe malengo yetu,” alisema.
Akizungumzia jimbo lake Malecela alisema kuwa serikali imefanya makubwa kwa kuboresha sekta ya afya, lakini aliiomba iongeze kasi katika kuboresha zaidi.
Alisema katika kipindi chote cha uwakilishi bungeni jimbo la Mtera limepata mafanikio mengi ikiwamo ujenzi wa zahanati katika kila kijiji.
Pia anamwombea kwa Mungu Waziri Mkuu, Mizengo Pinda aweze kurudi kwenye nafasi yake baada yauchaguzi mkuu wa Oktoba, mwaka huu.
Awali, Malecela aliwatolea uvuvi wapinzani kwa kuhoji wanataka serikali iwafanyie nini wananchi ili waridhike, kama imefanya mambo ya maendeleo.
Malecela alisema “Msituhukumu kwa hatua tuliyofikia bali tuhukumuni kwa tulikotoka,” alisema Malecela na kuongeza:
“Tulipopata uhuru nchi hii ilikuwa na madaktari watatu tu, lakini leo tunashuhudia maendeleo yapo karibu katika nyanja zote. Bado wenzetu mnasema hatujafanya kitu. Mnataka Serikali iwabebe wananchi ndio mkubali imewafanya mambo ya maendeleo?” alihoji.
“Mimi nausifu uongozi wa awamu ya nne na hasa Wizara ya Afya na Ustawi wa Jamii. Naibu waziri Aisha Kigoda amekuwa akijibu maswali kama ya wizara kikamilifu! Mnataka mafanikio gani. Awamu ya nne ina maendeleo makubwa.” aliongeza.
Malecela alisema hayo baada ya kambi ya upinzani katika hotuba yake ya makadirio ya matumizi ya bajeti hiyo kusema kimsingi serikali imeshindwa kufikia malengo yake, hasa katika wizara ya afya.
Msemaji wa kambi hiyo Dk Ali Tarab Ali alitaja baadhi ya maeneo aliyoeleza kuwa hayajafanikiwa vizuri kuwa ni pamoja na wizara kutegemea wafadhili katika miradi yake kwa karibu asilimia 98 na kuendelea kutoa malipo mengi kwa wafanyakazi hewa.
“Mheshimiwa Spika, Kambi ya Upinzani inatekeleza wajibu wake wa kidemokrasia wa kutao maoni ili chama kinachotawala kiyafanyie kazi kwa maslahi ya Taifa. Sisi tnasubiri tupewe ridhaa na wananchi ili tutekeleze mipango hii ambayo wenzetu mmeshindwakutekeleza,” alisema Dk Tarab.
Wakati akianza kuchangia hoja hiyo, Malecela alisema kuwa ni muhimu wapinzani wakaelewa kuwa CCM imefanya mambo mengi tokea uhuru hiyo ni muhimu wakaheshimu.
"CCM itaendelea kuongoza kwa kishindo hivyo upinzani wakubali hali halisi. Chama (CCM) kimeitoa nchi mbali kuanzia uhuru wakati tukiwa na madaktari watatu na sasa tunao wengi hivyo serikali si ya kuhukumiwa kwa kuwa tulikotoka ni mbali,"alisema Malecela.

Sex and The City 2: Return of the Cosmos
Ladies, gents, Blacks, Whites, gays, straights and everyone in between, I give you the greatest show on earth. 'Sex' has returned to the city! Millions have waited as visions of Birkin Bags danced in our heads. What will Carrie wear? What crazy double entendres will Samantha concoct? Does Charlotte still have babies on the brain? Has Miranda successfully escaped from Brooklyn? Most important of all -- will we get another full frontal shower scene?
On a gorgeous Tuesday night in Manhattan, I made my way to an advanced screening of "Sex and the City 2." Once upon a time, I was a non-believer. I wasn't quick to catch the many catch phrases sprinkled in common conversations; the Cosmo craze, “He’s just not that into you” and the infamous “Post It" breakup. Now that I have been totally submerged into this scandalously seductive and sometime silly world, I cannot walk past a metal sidewalk hatch without flashes of Samantha falling in!
I believe now as I strutted down Broadway in my new favorite outfit – a tan, high-waist, asymmetrical flared skirt, white tank top and bold gold statement necklace. I wasn’t rocking any designer labels, but I truly believe my vintage, avant-garde chic pieces would have made Carrie Bradshaw proud!
The AMC Lincoln Square was flooded with a gaggle of what appeared to be single gals and their gay BFFs. Nestled in my seat, I asked my two friends what they thought about the security guard that deemed us worthy of entry – hey, I am at an advanced screening of "Sex and the City 2," I might as well try to land a man!
Both quickly pointed out that he was a mere security guard at a movie theater. In his defense, I offered up the idea of him simply moonlighting for this one event. Right then and there my buds pulled my card, saying, “You are so Charlotte!” For the rest of the night I was labeled the eternal optimist! Just to be clear, this Southern gal is not some overly optimistic hopeless romantic. I have lived and loved in New York City for the last seven years…
I've had the Carrie/Aidan experience with a man who wanted to settle down and start a family and I simply was not ready.
I've had the Samantha/Smith experience with an up-and-coming model that chased his dream to the west coast.
I've been caught up in an on again, off again Carrie/Big crazy, no-one-understands-I-don’t-even-understand-it myself love.
Now, I'm anxiously awaiting my Miranda/Dr. Robert (Blair Underwood) surprisingly sexy neighbor love. So, it’s only fair that I try walking around in Charlotte’s shoes for awhile.
As I type the last lines of this article, I stare at my computer screen and then out of my New York City apartment window, much like the all too familiar scenes of Carrie Bradshaw engraved in our memory. I think about the glitz and drama I saw on the big screen, looking ahead to the days, months and years that await me. Transitioning into marriage and motherhood much like Miranda and Charlotte, but -- thrilled with the idea of summoning my inner Samantha! So raise your Cosmos, put a flower in your hair and catch a man’s eye this Memorial Day Weekend all while enjoying the latest dose of "Sex and the City."

Michael Jackson Dies at 50
The singer, who gave the world the best break dance and the biggest selling record in human history, was pronounced dead soon after he arrived at an LA hospital.
He died on June 25 in a Los Angeles hospital in the United States , closing the chapter on the story of a man who became world-famous as a child, charmed the world with his dance steps and hit songs and left the stage with more myths and puzzles in his trail.
The Los Angeles Times reported on its website yesterday that “Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors this afternoon after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma, city and law enforcement sources told The Times.”
The TMZ entertainment website had broken the news which shocked the world, coming a month to his scheduled comeback tour.
Earlier, the Los Angeles Times said the singer had been rushed to a Los Angeles-area hospital by fire department paramedics who found him not breathing when they arrived at the singer’s home.
The newspaper said paramedics performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the scene before taking him to the UCLA Medical Center hospital.
Jackson had been due to start a series of concerts in London on July 13 running until March 2010. The singer had been rehearsing in the Los Angeles area for the past two months.
The shows for the 50 London concerts sold out within minutes of going on sale in March.
His lifetime record sales tally is believed to be around 750 million, which, added to the 13 Grammy Awards he received, makes him one of the most successful entertainers of all time.
He lived as a virtual recluse since his acquittal in 2005 on charges of child molestation.
There were concerns about Jackson ’s health in recent years but the promoters of the London shows, AEG Live, said in March that Jackson had passed a four-and-a-half hour physical examination with independent doctors.

The new line was created to add more diversity for their specialty stores and allow customers to have a more unique alice + olivia shopping experience. The collection consists of hand worked pieces that use luxurious materials and detailed craftsmanship. These edgy and inventive designs will be available as part of a limited edition collection.
As always, the imaginative and edgy collection will reflect Stacey’s lifestyle, as the ever busy designer continues to live bi-coastally and is mom to ten-month old daughter Eloise Breckenridge Eisner. Stacey views life and fashion as synonymous, and continues to find ways to creatively blend the two elements. Following the success of the past themed presentations “alice in wonderland”, “breakfast in bed”, “hippy queen” and Mick Rock photo gallery at alice + olivia’s Bryant Park Store, Stacey once again spins a stylish tale through the music of the Plastiscines, enlisting the band to perform and promote the playful mood of the collection. Both the band and the runway models, posing as adoring fans, will showcase the designers’ spring looks.
Stacey’s inspiration for her spring 2010 collection was “the power of the female”. She wanted to represent girls “predicating sexuality, cleverness and charm” by combining influence from all the women who influence her every day. Keeping her feminine side in mind, she set about to create a collection she describes as “playful with an edge”. The designer often credits her line as catering to every kind of woman; creating clothes that are meant to make a woman feel both sexy and sweet. After seeing the Plastiscines’ “Barcelona” video, Stacey decided that there was no better way to bring her spring collection to life than with a performance by the band. The band exudes a “candy punk vibe” that is in tune with alice + olivia’s cleverly unique style.
Chic structured dresses in pale pinks, purples and neutrals are mixed with the brand’s traditional black and white colors. Small floral prints, embellished tops and structured jackets with cut out details define the flirty and inventive collection. alice + olivia will also showcase their basics line featuring t-shirts and button-downs in soft, butter-like fabrics, linens and metallics.
