Colombian superstar Shakira slipped into a belly-baring ensemble custom-made by Roberto Cavalli to perform her anthem "Waka Waka" at the 2010 World Cup's closing ceremonies. Her performance was backed by South African fusion band Freshlyground.
Oprah Waves Goodbye to Talk TV
Oprah Winfrey has been the queen of talk show television for 25 years -- but in a matter of months, she's putting an end to the show. In September, Winfrey announced she'd be going out with a bang, treating her final season premiere audiences to an all-expenses-paid eight-day Australian vacation, yelling, "You and you and you and you are going to Australia!"

According to Forbes, first lady Michelle Obama has just the right mix of clout, earnings and "buzz factor" to make her the world's most powerful woman. The magazine released its list of female movers and shakers in October. Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also made the cut, but it was Michelle who came out on top.

Weight Watchers spokeswoman Jennifer Hudson lost a jaw-dropping 56 pounds, thanks to a managed diet and exercise program. A size 12 during her American Idoldays, Jennifer says she occasionally has trouble recognizing herself: "I see a photograph and I think, 'Who is that? Oh! That's me!'"
